I’m Selçuk Birdal, a professional Turkish voice over artist. I am known for my versatility. My journey in voice acting spans various fields. These include radio, TV, and creative drama. I bring a unique blend of experience and skill to every project.

Education & Training:

  • Gölcük/Kocaeli (1979-1983) – Music Education (Mandolin, Guitar)
  • METU Ankara (1992-1993) – University Theater Group
  • Various Diction & Voice Courses (1994-2001)
  • Creative Drama Leadership (2008-2012)
  • Anadolu University – Public Administration (Bachelor’s Degree) – Graduated: 29/06/2015
  • Anadolu University – Associate Degree in Justice (Law) – Graduated: 12/06/2023
  • Anadolu University Continuing Education Application and Research Center – Learn from the Master Cinema Workshop Certificate Program – Completed: 26/01/2025

Experience:

  • 1994-2001: I created radio programs. I also provided Turkish voice overs for ads and radio theaters.
  • 1999-2003: I worked on dubbing for TRT. This included TV series, movies, and cartoons.
  • 2004-2005: I led preschool and elementary school drama activities.
  • 2008-2012: I worked as a Creative Drama Leader.
  • 2009: I traveled to Germany for photoshoots related to my Mercedes-Benz (“Hey Mercedes”) voice over work.
  • I have also traveled to Switzerland, Germany, France, and Italy for various voice over projects.
